Adele ‘abandons plans to knock through two £11m London homes into one mega-mansion’

‘No work has gone on!’ Adele ‘abandons plan to convert TWO £ 11m London homes into one mega-mansion’ after failing to lay a brick in three YEARS

Adele has ‘abandoned’ plans to convert two £ 11 million London homes into one mega-mansion.

The singer, 33, is allegedly running out of time to start the project, with the planning application for the building running out in just seven weeks, according to The Sun.

Neighbors have become convinced that the star has given up on the idea because of her desire to live in the US full time after falling for new beau Rich Paul.

A source told the publication: ‘Adele’s big plans to knock through her two houses into one have gone totally off the boil.

‘She was been granted the permission for the work back in May 2019 and it all had to be completed three years on from that date.’

‘Last year there was a noise notice put up outside the properties warning of the works about to begin – but absolutely nothing has happened. The two houses have not been touched and no work has gone on.

‘Adele’s neighbors were obviously glad that they haven’t had to put up with that kind of major overhaul but it has left some a bit confused as to what she plans next.’

Adele had reportedly originally planned to have an enormous bedroom, spanning 1,000 sq ft.

There were also alleged plans for the basement to have enough space for two cars and a huge playroom.

Adele admitted that she hoped to settle down with Rich and even suggested they were about to start a family, after canceling her Las Vegas residency back in January.

Adele insisted she wanted the concerts to go ahead later this year, to allow her to take a break.

She said: ‘It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby. ‘

Adele dramatically withdrew from her three-month engagement at Caesars Palace just hours before her first show was due to take place, blaming ‘delivery’ issues and COVID-19.

However, it was later reported that the delays were down to the singer being displeased with the set design, particularly over a swimming pool erected in the middle of the stage.
